Night Hawks Knockoff No. 13 Webber, 4-1

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University baseball team upset No. 13 Webber International University (Fla.), 4-1, on Friday at Varnedoe Stadium. Jordan Martin threw his first complete game on the season.

The Night Hawks went to 13-21, 2-8 in The Sun Conference, while the Warriors went to 24-6, 7-3 in TSC. The two schools complete a three game stand with a double header starting at noon on Saturday at Varnedoe Stadium.

Reed Melcolm went 2-for-3, while Gavin Murphy went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Wyatt Petrey went 2-for-4.

Martin pitched the complete game with one run on six hits and struck out three.
