Night Hawks Sweep Keiser in Conference Opener

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Thomas University softball team completed the sweep of Keiser University (Fla.), 6-2 and 8-1, on Saturday that began conference play at Armory Field. TU extended its winning streak to seven for the second time this season.

The Night Hawks improved to 23-5, 3-0 in The Sun Conference, while the Seahawks went to 10-8, 3-0 in TSC. TU continues conference play against Ave Maria University (Fla.), 2 p.m. Friday at Armory Field.

GAME ONE

Gaby Mora went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI, while Kaitlyn Stoltz hit 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Victoria Camina went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI, while Brittany Daniels hit 2-for-4 with an RBI.
 
Jessica Reid picked up the win on a complete game, seven innings, with two runs on eight hits.
 
TU stole nine bases in the game.
