HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The Thomas University softball team upset No. 12 Campbellsville University (Ky.), 2-1, and No. 8 Lindsey Wilson College, 2-0, in the Southeastern Challenge at the Richard Gray Sports Complex on Friday. TU held the ranked opponents to a combined 11 hits and one run during the day.

The Night Hawks improved to 8-2 on the season. TU completes the Southeastern Challenge with games against Bryan College (Tenn.) at 3 p.m. and No. 16 Reinhardt University (Ga.) at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

CAMPBELLSVILLE

Gaby Mora went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, while Alaynah Weiss hit 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Jessica Reid pitched a complete game, seven innings, with one run on eight hits and struck out one.
