THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University softball team lost to Coastal Georgia 3-1 in the first game and won 6-4 in the second game on Sunday at Armory Field.

The Night Hawks improved to 5-1 on the season, while the Mariners went to 6-2 on the year. TU plays in the USCB Tournament starting with No. 10 William Carey University (Miss.) at 4 p.m. on Thursday in Hardesville, S.C.

GAME ONE

Brittany Daniels hit 2-for-3, while Kaiteyn Stoltz hit a home run and Cortnee Cifu went 1-for-1.

Jessica Reid pitched the complete game with three runs on eight hits and struck out two.
