Night Hawks Take One of Two in Southeastern Challenge

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The Thomas University softball team split two games in the first day of the Southeastern Challenge at the Richard Gray Sports Complex. TU fell short of No. 10 William Carey University (Miss.), 2-1 in 10 innings, and topped Faulkner University (Ala.), 4-2, on Thursday.

The Night Hawks improved to 6-2 after the two games on Thursday. TU returns to the Southeastern Challenge to play No. 12 Campbellsville University (Ky.) at 12:30 p.m. and No. 8 Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

WILLIAM CAREY

Victoria Camina went 2-for-4 with a run scored, while Brittany Daniels hit 2-for-2 with an RBI.

Jessica Reid pitched 8.2 innings with two runs on nine hits and struck out three.
