TU Slides Past Montreat in Double Header

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University softball team cruised past Montreat (N.C.), 7-0 and 9-1, at Armory Field in the team's home opener.

The Night Hawks improved to 4-0 on the season, while the Cavaliers fell to 0-10 on the year. TU hosts Coastal Georgia in a double header starting at 1 p.m. Sunday at Armory Field.

GAME ONE
Brittany Daniels hit 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored, while Victoria Camina went 1-for-2 with three runs scored and an RBI. Kelsey Connolly went 1-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI, while Gaby Mora and Cortnee Cifu both went 1-for-2.

Jessica Reid pitched six innings of one hit ball and struck out six, while Ashley Sikes threw the final inning and did not allow a hit.
