The Night Hawks finished second in the second annual TU Invitational held at Butler-Mason YMCA on Oct. 14.
Six different Night Hawks posted an NAIA qualifying standard in at least one event as did two relay teams.
Vincent Lijoi reached an A standard in the 500 free and 200 free and B standard in the 100 free. Ethan Bainbridge posted two A cuts in the 100 free and 200 free and a B standard in the 50 free. Mitchell Graham posted an A standard in the 100 breast. Kevin Bohr reached a B standard in the 200 fly. Alex Haymond posted an A cut in the 200 free and two B cuts in the 100 free and 50 free. Perry Lindo reached an A standard in the 50 free and two B standards in the 100 free and 100 fly.
Thomas' 200 medley relay team of Graham, Bohr, Juan Pablo Robles and Tyler Spencer reached a standard as did the 200 free relay unit of Bainbridge, Haymond, Lijoi and Lindo.

Salvador James IIIÂ record two NAIA A-cut times, posting a time of 53.25 seconds in the 100 backstroke before he clocked a 1:58.49 in the 200 IM.
Tim Buisson notched finishing times of 1:02.30 in the 100 breast and 2:28.85 in the 200 breast, while Blaise Wise tallied a 2:08.5 in the 200 breast event. Jack Jackson (21.81) and Jack Laughlin (22.84) each competed for the first time in the 50 freestyle. The quartet of James, Buisson, Jackson and Warren Massimini clocked a 1:38.24 in the 200 medley relay, while Samuel Vasquez's 48:73 in the 100 free landed him in second place overall.
