Night Hawks Cruise Past Life 4-0

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University men's soccer team soared past Life University (Ga.), 4-0, Sunday night at the TU Soccer Complex to remain undefeated on the season.

The Night Hawks improved to 6-0-1 on the season, while the Running Eagles fell to 0-7-0 on the year. TU opens Sun Conference play against Florida Memorial University 2 p.m. Friday at the TU Soccer Complex.

Severin Abt had a corner kick that was headed in by Billy Jeffery in the 38th minute that became the game winning goal. The Night Hawks held a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Life had a hand ball in the box that gave TU a penalty kick four minutes into the second half. Juan Figueroa converted the penalty kick and extended the Night Hawks lead to 2-0.

Henry Jones extended the TU lead to 3-0 in the 58th minute with an assist by Jesper Svall. Gavin Rochford-Smith scored the final goal of the game in the 61st minute with an assist from Figueroa.
