Night Hawks Top Mobile, 1-0, Late

THOMASVILLE Ga. – The Thomas University men's soccer team took down the University of Mobile (Ala.), 1-0, on Wednesday at the TU Soccer Complex. TU netted the game winner in the 80th minute to remain undefeated on the season.

The Night Hawks improved to 5-0-1 on the season, while the Rams went to 3-3-0 on the year. TU hosts Life (Ga.) 4 p.m. Sunday at the TU Soccer Complex for TASA Day.

Severin Abt netted the lone goal of the game off a free kick just outside the 18-yard box, his fifth goal of the year. Abt's kick came from the left side of the field, bent the ball over the wall of defenders and found the left side of the goal.

Lee Howarth collected three saves in the shutout victory for the Night Hawks.
