Night Hawks Fall to Middle Georgia

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Middle Georgia State University topped the Thomas University women's soccer team 2-1 on Sunday at the TU Soccer Complex.

The Night Hawks fell to 0-2 on the season, while the Knight went to 1-1 on the year. TU travels to Athens, Tenn. for the Tennessee Wesleyan University tournament and play the host on Saturday at noon.

"Kayla Folse was fantastic today and the freshman played really well," TU coach Julie Orlowski said.

Sam Silva scored the first goal of the game for Middle Georgia in the 29th minute.

Kaitlyn Lefevre extended the Knight lead, and produced the game winning goal, in the 59th minute on an assist from Nakia Hunter.
Folse netted the TU goal in the 81st minute.

Sierra Robinson produced two saves as the Night Hawks goalie.
