THE NIGHT HAWKS
Thomas University opens the 2016 season in the University of Mobile (Ala.) Men's Soccer Tournament against two ranked opponents in No. 18 University of Northwestern Ohio and No. 17 Bellevue University. The Night Hawks come off a successful 2015 campaign where the team put together 14 wins and advanced to the semi-finals of the conference tournament.

TU returns Severin Abt from last season who tied for the team-lead in goals with nine and added two assists.

THE RACERS
The University of Northwestern Ohio also opens the 2016 season against Thomas. The Racers won 16 games last season, won their conference tournament and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round.

Sean Latimer returns for his senior season as the top goal scorer for UNOH from last season. Latimer netted 14 goals with six assists in 20 games last year.

THE BRUINS
Bellevue University has compiled a 1-0-1 record already this season with a 2-1 win over Northwestern (Iowa) on Monday.

The Bruins have scored four goals this season from four different players with three different assists. Scott Robson leads the team in points with a goal and an assist.

UP NEXT
The Night Hawks travel north to Kentucky for the NAIA-Southeastern Challenge hosted by Lindsey Wilson College. TU plays another pair of tough opponents in Bethel (Tenn.) who received votes in the preseason poll and the host Blue Raiders who sit ranked 23rd.
