Lindsey Wilson Clips TU on Tuesday

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University women's basketball team fell to fifth-ranked Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.) 100-57 Wednesday night at the TU gymnasium.

The Night Hawks fell to 4-6 on the season, while the Blue Raiders improved to 11-0 on the year. TU travels to the St. Thomas December Classic after Christmas and takes on the University of Western Ontario (Canada) on Dec. 28 in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Arianna Anderson led the Night Hawks with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds, while J'Nyiah Daniels and Kriza Allen both added 14 points.

Lindsey Wilson jumped out to a 15-6 lead on a 10-2 run in the first quarter. The Night Hawks ended the first quarter on a 6-2 run but trailed 23-17 after the period.

TU opened the second quarter on a 5-0 run and cut the LWC lead to 23-22 on a made three-pointer by Daniels. The Blue Raiders jumped out to a 42-26 lead on a 19-4 run. De'Audra Copeland ended the half with two free throws while LWC led 52-32 at the break.

The Blue Raiders opened up a 75-36 lead on a 23-4 run to start the third quarter. Lindsey Wilson held an 82-44 lead heading into the final period.

The two teams traded three-point field goals to start the fourth quarter. The Night Hawks went on a 5-0 run and trimmed the lead to 96-57 before Lindsey Wilson ended the game with two layups.
The Night Hawks recorded 11 steals in the game and pulled down 31 rebounds.
