DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – The 13th-ranked Thomas University men's soccer team continues its quest for the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship with a sweet 16 contest against No. 4 Northwestern Ohio on Monday at 4 p.m. The match will be video-streamed at NAIANetwork.com with live stats at Dakstats.com.
THE NIGHT HAWKS
Thomas hosted an opening round game and improved to 15-3-2 with a 3-2 win over Georgia Gwinnett College in overtime.
Jarrod Ingram netted the game winner with 44 seconds remaining in the first overtime.
The Night Hawks captured their first-ever Sun Conference regular season title with a 7-2 conference record. Ingram collected TSC player of the year and leads the nation with 10 game winning goals.
Lee Howarth averages 3.6 saves per game with seven shutouts on the year.
THE RACERS
The University on Northwestern Ohio enter Monday's match at 18-1-3 after a 7-2 victory over Columbia College (Mo.) in the opening round. The Racers had four different players score in the game with two own goals.
UNOH collected the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship with a 2-0 win over fourth-ranked Davenport University (Mich.). The Racers placed seven players on the first team all-conference list including the defensive player of the year, Michael Gonzalo. The team leads the country with 15 total shutouts behind goalie Nikola Kahvedzic.

The two teams met in the season opener this year at a neutral site in Orange Beach, Ala. with the two drawing, 0-0, after two overtimes.
