Box Score No. 4 Thomas University Men's Soccer (11-1-3) (TSC 6-1-1) battled it out against Northwood University's Seahawks (5-3-2) (TSC 3-1-2) forcing the game into a double overtime 1-1 tie.
The Night Hawks fought through a tough battle as they faced off with the Northwood University Seahawks. The Seahawks took a 1-nil lead over Thomas during the 37
th minute. TU wouldn't back down from the match as the defense stepped up and held the Seahawk offense throughout the remainder of the match. Sophomore
Alex Condell solidified the Night Hawk defense as he recorded 7 saves on the day, including a game saving PK save.Â

Juan Figueroa drove home a goal in the 76
th minute on a PK kick, knotting the game at 1 and forcing a double overtime.Â
The match proved to be a physical battle as there were a total of 15 cards delivered from the officials between both the Seahawks and the Thomas University Night Hawks.Â
"We batted hard out there today and showed a lot of heart. We made a few mistakes, as well as we had to battle from behind the majority of the match," said Head TU Soccer Coach,
Ricky Zambrano. "We had several cards issued throughout the game to both teams, forcing us to battle much of the game with several players down."
The Night Hawks honored six seniors for their dedication and hard work prior to kick off, showing appreciation for their efforts on and off the pitch.
Thomas will be back in action as they travel to Daytona Beach, FL to take on conference contender Embry-Riddle University on October 25
th, at 7:00 PM.
