Box Score TU (9-3-1, 5-0-1) and St. Thomas University (1-6-1, 0-4-1) played to a, 1-1, double overtime tie this afternoon in Miami Gardens, FL.

The Night Hawks scored opened the scoring in the 21^st minute of the first half with a goal by senior forward Rowan Liburd on an assist by senior defender Steven Conway. STU answered back 18 minutes knotting the game at one. TU dominated large portions of the second half but were unable to find the back of the net. For the second game in a row, the Night Hawks found themselves needing overtime to decide the match. Unlike Friday night, Thomas was unable to find the golden goal to secure the win.

With the draw, TU falls a half game behind Embry Riddle University for the top spot in the TSC standings. Men's Soccer will be back in action on Friday October 18 at 4:30 PM traveling down to Johnson and Wales University for a critical TSC match up. Thomas enters the match looking for a win to clinch a spot in the TSC tournament and seeking to get closer to securing a first round home game in the tournament.
