Harrison Steele

Harrison Steel is embarking on his first full-time coaching position with the Thomas University men’s and women’s golf teams. Steel enters a vast knowledge of NAIA and Sun Conference golf having attended and played four years collegiately at Johnson & Wales University.
 
Playing in 15 events through his college career he averaged a shade over 75 with two Top 5 performances as well as eight more Top 20 finishes. Steel claims his proudest achievement as helping JWU to a tied-third place finish at the 2014 NAIA National Championship where he finished T16th individually.
 
Harrison was a four year Dean's List member at Johnson & Wales receiving a Bachelor of Science in Sport Entertainment and Event Management with a concentration in Golf Management.  He graduated with honors and in his junior and senior seasons was an NAIA Academic All-American.
 
Hailing from the Island of Jersey in the United Kingdom, Steel has experienced all that golf has to offer around the world.
 
Harrison has held various positions within different industries from finance to retail as well as working at four different golf courses in different roles including a coaching role at Miami Shores Country Club.
 
Steel resides in Thomasville, Ga.
