Sarah Taylor enters into her first season as Thomas University’s Athletic Assistant Coach for the women’s basketball team.
Before coming to Thomas, Taylor was a four year letterman and standout with the Rollins College women’s basketball program (2011-2014). During her collegiate playing career, Taylor scored 1,169 points, grabbed 163 steals, brought down 683 boards, and blocked 61 shots in 126 games of play. Her 126 appearances are a program record at Rollins.
Taylor helped lead the Tars to a Final Four appearance in the 2012 NCAA Division II tournament, back-to-back conference tournament championships (2011-2012 and 2012-2013), and four straight Regional Tournament appearances. Throughout her career, Coach Taylor received First and Second Team All-Conference honors from the Sunshine State Conference and was a four time recipient of the Rollins Athletic Director and Sunshine State Conference Honor Rolls.
The Longwood, Fla., native earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies (2015) and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Thomas.
Currently, Taylor resides in Thomasville, Ga.
