Casmine Copeland enters her second season at Thomas University as the Women's Basketball Assistant Coach. 
 

Copeland comes to TU after previously serving as the Strength and Conditioning Coach in Nebraska. She has spent her last 4 years enhancing individuals' athletic ability and sport specific skills.Copelands’ interest in basketball began as young as five years old. She played basketball and ran track and field in high school. She began her collegiate career at Southern Union earning a full ride scholarship. She was the student athletic trainer at the University of Mississippi. Copeland has experience in private sessions developing basketball players of all ages. She has spent time in her community coaching summer and winter league youth basketball. 

Copeland holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Troy University. She also holds a master's degree in Athletic Training where she interned at University of Mississippi and Creighton University. She is currently working on her Masters in Business Administration at Thomas University
