Abigail Thompson enters her first year as an Athletic Assistant Coach of the Night Hawks Softball program after previously spending the last five years as third baseman and catcher for the Webber Warriors.
Abigail was a part of the SUN Conference and Regional Championship team and went on to make an appearance at the NAIA Softball World Series.Thompson went on to collect several honors during her stint at Webber, which included All-Conference Second team, NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete, and Academic All-Conference.
In addition to coaching softball, Thompson has worked in multiple internships as a Strength and Conditioning coach, coaching men’s Football and Baseball at Webber and working with multi-sport high school athletes at All Saints Academy in Winter Haven, Fla. Her goal is to build a strong foundation for athletes so that they may be strong, healthy, and successful people on and off the field.
A native of Orlando, Fl, Thompson graduated with a Bachelors degree in Sports Performance, Health, and Fitness and will be pursuing a Masters in Business Administration. Currently, Thompson resides in Thomasville, Ga.
