Jamie Smith is entering into his first season as Thomas University’s Athletic Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. Previously, Smith spent the last three years coaching for UK Elite Soccer in New Jersey.
During his collegiate playing career, Smith spent two years at Louisburg College helping them win two NJCAA Division I Region X titles and two Mid-Atlantic District Championships before finishing out his last two seasons at Limestone College (S.C.). Smith also played for the Quad City Eagles of the NPSL league during the 2012 summer.
The Flintshire, Wales, native earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and Business Marketing from Limestone College (2011) and holds the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, UEFA B, and FA Level 2 Soccer coaching badges.
Prior to coming to the United State, Smith played for Yale College, Cefn Druids, and North East Wales.
Currently, Smith resides in Thomasville, Ga.
