William Christopher comes to Thomas from The Citadel where he served in several roles for four years including the Director of Football Operations and Defensive Quality Control (DQC). As DQC, Christopher assisted the Linebackers coach and Defensive Coordinator with meetings and drills. Main responsibilities included created weekly scouting reports, picture pages, practice schedules and scripts. Additionally, Christopher contributed to the weekly game plan, specifically Down and Distance tendencies, personnel tendencies and formational tendencies.
Prior to The Citadel, Christopher was the Varsity Linebacker coach and special teams coordinator at Midland Valley High School in Graniteville, South Carolina for two years. Previous to Midland Valley, Christopher spent 2012-16 at various high schools in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., serving as a coach in various high school sports.
Christopher received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at Clemson University in 2011 while minoring in Athletic Leadership.
