Randy Adams enters his second season as Thomas University’s head baseball coach in 2019. He works primarily with outfielders.
Adams spent five seasons as the top assistant coach for the Night Hawks from 2013-17.
Adams earned his Associates of Arts from St. Johns River State College in 2007 where he played one season under coaches Mike Robbins and Sam Rick, receiving NJCAA Scholar Athlete honors. After his freshman season, Adams transferred to Thomas.
During his three seasons as a member of the Night Hawk baseball team, Adams played in 91 games collecting 78 hits on 250 at bats while hitting 17 homeruns. The right-hander drove in 80 runs and boasted a .312 career batting average. Adams was a three time NAIA Scholar Athlete (2008, 2009, and 2010) and received Dean’s List honors twice (2009 and 2010).
Coach Adams received his Bachelor of Science in biology (2010) and Master of Business Administration (2015) from Thomas University.
Randy and his wife, Morgan and son Drake, reside in Metcalf, Ga.
