Michael Skelly

Michael Skelly enters his second season as the Thomas University athletic assistant baseball coach in 2019. He works primarily with catchers and assists in recruiting efforts.

Skelly spent the 2017 season as an assistant coach at Andrew (Ga.) where he served as the outfield and first base coach. He also served as a camp/showcase coordinator and helped in recruiting efforts. Skelly helped guide the Tigers to the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Tournament.

Skelly served as an assistant coach for the New Market Rebels of the Valley League in the summer of 2017. He assisted with hitting and served as first base coach. The Rebels finished second in their division while leading the league in numerous offensive categories.

Skelly played for three seasons (2013, 2015-16) at Anderson (S.C.).

Skelly earned a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from Anderson in 2016 and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Thomas.

A native of Pendleton, S.C., Skelly attended Pendleton High School.
