WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Thomas University Night Hawks men's soccer team opened its 2026 season Saturday against Keiser at Arrigo-Vecellio Field.
Billy Jeffery's squad trailed 1-0 at halftime before the No. 15 Seahawks added three second-half goals to secure a 4-0 victory.
The Night Hawks were unable to find the back of the net on eight shots. Only two attempts, both from
Edward Sack, were on target.
Elia Casali generated an early scoring chance but missed wide in the ninth minute. In the 30th minute, a corner kick from
Will Nye led to two attempts by
Ryan Donnelly. One hit the post, while the other was blocked. Late shots by
Ethan Moore and
Franco Ghizzo also were turned away.
Eight members of the starting eleven played all 90 minutes, while five players saw action off the bench.
Thomas (0-1, 0-0 SSAC) continues its road trip in the Sunshine State on Thursday, Aug. 27, against Warner University in Lake Wales. The Night Hawks have won the past three meetings with the Royals by a combined score of 11-0.
