Night Hawks Post Record and Personal Best Performances at Terry Long FSU Relays

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Competing at the historic Mike Long Track, the Night Hawks posted multiple standout performances across two days at the Terry Long FSU Relays, highlighted by a school record, a personal best, and several strong relay and individual finishes.

Thursday — Day 1

The Night Hawks opened the meet with a major milestone in the shot put, where Connor Munn placed seventh with a throw of 13.45 meters, setting a new school record. Teammate Jadon Parker also scored in the event, taking 10th with a mark of 12.12 meters.

In the 5000 meters, Landon Watts delivered the top distance performance of the meet, finishing eighth with a mark of 15:57.68, a new personal best.

Friday — Day 2

Sprinters returned to the track with strong efforts in a deep 100‑meter field. Jayson Evans placed 17th with a time of 11.14 seconds (+1.3w), and Aaron Wilson finished 18th in 12.33 seconds (+0.5w).

In the discus, Parker recorded a toss of 34.99 meters to place 13th, while Munn registered no mark.

Middle‑distance runner Nelson Lopez ran a steady race in the 800 meters, finishing 11th in 2:00.68.

The Night Hawks closed the meet in the 4x400‑meter relay, where Lopez (52.86), Evans (53.97), Wilson (56.25), and Fabian Jeune (56.92) combined for a sixth‑place finish in 3:40.46.
