Isaac Padilla has been named the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Padilla, a freshman from Apopka, Fla. , earned the award after throwing a dominant seven innings of shutout ball in the Night Hawks' 7–0 win over #7 Loyola on Feb. 27. The right‑hander allowed two hits and issued four free passes while striking out 5.
Padilla finished the seven‑inning outing with a 0.00 ERA, 0.71 WHIP, and a 0.090 batting average against.
The honor marks Padilla's first SSAC weekly award of the 2026 season and his career.
