THOMASVILLE, GA Â | Â In the first half, every drive (except one) the Thomas offense scored.
Alexa Wilson, starting QB, had a dominating first half with 5 touchdowns. Wilson ended the first half with 143 passing yards.

Aliyah Wood, starting slot receiver had a great game as well in the first half with 3 receptions and a touchdown.Â

At the end of the first half, the Night Hawks decided to rotate their first defense out and put in the 2nd string.  The Skyhawks took their opportunity to drive the field with less than 30 seconds on the clock. The Skyhawk QB threw a perfect ball to the Point receiver, to get the touchdown as time expired in the half.
The score at half was 33-7 Night Hawks.Â

As the second half began, all the starting offense and defense were done for the day. On defense, freshman
Maddie Hougland, caught an interception at the Thomas 20 yardline.  During the return, just before her flag was pulled, Hougland pitched the ball to linebacker
Zoe Jackson, who returned the ball the final 40 yards, for the Night Hawk touchdown. As the clock kept rolling the Night Hawks kept scoring.Â

On the day, Thomas amassed 267 yards of total offense for an average of over eight yards per play. Â
Alexa Wilson was 17/25, for 209 yards and six touchdowns on the day. Â
Ameari Logan led the team with five flag pulls. Â
Kaitlyn Herb had two tackles-for-loss, two sacks, one interception, and one pass break-up. Â
Maddie Hougland had two interceptions and
Aliyah Wood added one interception. Â
Gisele Jones led the team with three interceptions, along with one tackle-for-loss and one sack.

The Night Hawks will be traveling up to Kentucky next week to play against Campbellsville, Milligan, and Bryant Stratten University.Â
