West Point, GA- Thomas University (1-27, 1-19) women's basketball team traveled to take on Point University (14-12, 9-9) Saturday afternoon to wrap up the season.
Thomas would be able to score 13 points in the first, while also connecting on 3 three pointers. Point would score 25 points in the first quarter and shoot 47% from the field.
In the second, Thomas' defenses would hold the Skyhawks to just 9 points and 0-2 from behind the three. Thomas would score 13 points and shoot 40% from the field, 60% from the three and 100% form the free throw line.
The Skyhawks would win the third quarter 13-12. Both teams would score 5 field goals apiece in the quarter. Thomas would shoot 42% from the field. Neither team would connect on a three pointer.
In the fourth, the Night Hawks would have their highest scoring quarter of the game, as they scored 17 points. They would shoot 33% from the field, 33% from the three, and 100% from the free throw line. Point would score 26 points in the quarter and take the win 73-55.
Ta'Nija Watson would record 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Dejah Wilson recorded 15 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals. Ryann Woodley recorded 11 points.
