THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University softball team scored five runs over the first two innings to earn a 5-0 victory over Webber International University on Saturday.

WIU won the first two games of the series on Friday, 2-1 and 4-1.

Starting pitcher
Dale Elmore allowed just three hits and struck out three in 5.0 innings in the circle. In both the third and fourth innings, Elmore stranded two WIU runners.
Taylor Currie came in for 2.0 innings of relief, striking out two and walking one of her seven batters faced.

Jaelynn Vialpando each connected on a pair of hits, and
Elizabeth Soto tagged a two-run double in the first.

The Night Hawks next travel to Lakeland, Fla., to face Southeastern University in a three-game Sun Conference set March 28 and 29.
