BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Thomas University flag football team improved to 9-0 Friday afternoon, defeating Webber International University, 33-6, at the Warrior Grass Field.

After a scoreless first quarter, Thomas scored 20 in the second quarter, then after the half, added six more in the third and seven in the fourth. WIU's lone six points came in the final quarter.

Quarterback
Alexa Wilson completed 28 of her 36 attempts for 273 yards and four touchdowns through the air. She was sacked twice and tossed two interceptions.

Wilson's favorite target was
Nakerra Brown, who had five receptions for 77 yards.
Aliyah Woods racked up 59 yards and one TD from three catches, including a long reception of 38 yards.
Gisele Jones had a team-high six receptions for 47 yards and one touchdown.

On the ground,
Kiana Acol rushed once for three yards.

Defensively,
Janae Scott pulled a team-high seven flags while
Brittney Delva and Jones each grabbed six.

Acol had one 45-yard punt for Thomas.

TU is back in action Saturday when the Night Hawks face Sun Conference foe Warner University at 1 p.m. in Lake Wales, Fla.
