LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University baseball team collected 17 hits in the Night Hawks 13-10 loss Friday at Grizzly Baseball Complex.

Five Night Hawks had multiple hits and four players combined to hit five doubles in the game. Seven different players drove in an RBI for TU.

Georgia Gwinnett led by three after the first two innings, then Thomas outscored GGC 10-1 over the next four-and-a-half innings. The Grizzlies then used six hits to score nine runs in the seventh to go ahead 13-10, which would be the final score after two scoreless innings to end the game.

Khadin Bastian went 4-for-6 with a pair of doubles and
Bradley Fleenor and
Kason Buie each went 3-for-5 with a double.

AJ Wydra started the game on the mound for TU, allowing four runs – three earned – from six hits in 6.0 innings. Reliever
Jacob Pino then came in for one-third of an inning, facing five batters and allowing four runs - three earned - from one hit and three walked batters.
Zachary Buelk was tagged with the loss after giving up four runs from four hits in 0.1 inning.

The Night Hawks play two games on Saturday, facing West Virginia Tech at 10 a.m., then Georgia Gwinnett College again at 2 p.m. in Lawrenceville, Ga.
