Montgomery, AL- This evening Thomas (0-3, 0-0) took on Webber (3-0, 0-0-) International in their second showing at the SSAC/SUN Conference Challenge tournament.
In the first half, scoring would go back and forth. Both teams would start the game with 10-0 runs. Eventually, both teams would settle into the game and continue the hot shooting. Going into the half, Thomas would lead 41-38. Jarvis Brown would record 20 points and 10 rebounds in the first half.
As the second half began, both teams would make adjustments and create a lead. Webber would go on a 13-5 run and take a ten point lead with thirteen minutes left in regulation. Thomas would not be able to respond. The Warriors would continue their play to eventually take a 96-77 win.
Jarvis Brown finished with 33 points and 11 rebounds. Jailin Lee would record 23 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
The Night Hawks will be back in action Thursday, November 9th at 7:30 for their home opener against Middle Georgia State. This will be th2e first conference game of the season.
