THOMASVILLE, GA – The Thomas University Men's Soccer team concluded their regular season action on a high note this past Wednesday, after defeating Georgia Gwinnett 1-0.
Both teams battled nearly the entire game, before TU's Stanley Hooker stole the show in the 80th minute to help seal the win for the Night Hawks.
(RV) Thomas (10-3-3) was able to tally a total of six of eleven shots in the second half. The Grizzles had nine shots the entire 90 minutes of action that was led with two shots each by Deigo Milessi, Odin Sokheim and Emanuele Sordi.
The Green and White took an 11-9 margin against GGC that included a 6-4 edge in shots on goal.
Thomas will now await information from the SSAC on postseason action as the Night Hawks begin their quest to their first ever Southern States Athletic Conference tournament banner.
