BABSON PARK, Fla. — The Thomas University softball team opened conference play Friday afternoon with a 8-1 loss to the Warriors from Webber International University. 

Starting pitcher Larran Carter picked up the loss in the circle, while Sophomore Kayla Swinson picked up the win for Webber. 

Tomorrow's doubleheader is set for a 12 p.m. start time.
