LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – After a string of recent success, the Thomas University Men's soccer team had another chance to see what it was going to take to potentially bring down the A.I.I.'s team to beat Wednesday evening, but the results were not ideal for the Night Hawks, as #10 Georgia Gwinnett defeated Thomas 4-0 at the Grizzly Soccer Complex.
 
While the Hunter Green & White's match may have been a setback, TU (3-4-1) once again limited the shot opportunities for GGC (9-0-2), allowing 11 in the match.
 
Down 1-0 in the 14th minute, Senior Salvador Marin had a chance to tie the contest, but the El Salvador native's brilliant shot was saved by Matija Gligorovic.  The shot was the only one on goal for TU.
 
The Night Hawks will have an opportunity to finish the spring season on a high note and potentially clinch the No. 4 seed in the A.I.I. Tournament on Saturday as the team hosts Florida National for Senior Day.  Kickoff at TU Soccer Complex is set for 2 p.m.
