THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University Women's basketball team travels to Montgomery, Ala. Sunday to take on Faulkner University in non-conference action.  This contest was rescheduled twice
 
The Lady Night Hawks (2-13, 2-13 TSC) come off a much-needed 70-60 win over Warner, which currently gives TU sole possession of the eighth spot (8th) in The Sun Conference standings.  Senior Forward Destiny Reed is fresh off a career-high 29 points from Saturday evening's win, now leading the team in Points Average (11.7). 
 
Faulkner (10-9, 4-3 SSAC) had a rough start due to COVID issues, but the Eagles have had a red-hot run, winning seven of its last nine contests.  FLK is led by Ashlyn Adkins, who averages 16 points and 5.7 boards.  As a team, the Eagles have shot 41.5% from the court, including over 32% from beyond the perimeter.  But do not let the team's percentage fool you; FLK ranks 20th in NAIA in 3-Ptrs. Made per Game (8.42).
 
While both Thomas and Faulkner have only met four times, the Eagles have won all four contests.
