WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – In a The Sun Conference game that featured sub-par shooting from both sides, the Thomas University Women's basketball team could not ignite its offensive attack, as the team was defeated 65-48 by Keiser Thursday night at the de Hoernle Student Life Center.
Defensively, the Lady Night Hawks (1-11, 1-11 TSC) came to play in the first half, not allowing a Made 3-Ptr. for the first 17 minutes and 25 seconds of the game, en route to its best 3-Pt. Defense performance of the season (2-for-20) against The Sun Conference's current third-best 3-Pt. offense. Unfortunately, the same could not have been said about its overall defense, as TU allowed over 43% of shots from the floor.
Thomas' offense struggled all game, shooting just over 30% from the field and converting 4-of-20 long range shots. The Lady Night Hawks' free throw shooting also took a step backwards Thursday, converting 54.5% from the charity stripe.
