Box Score GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Thomas University softball team defeated No. 6 Columbia College (Mo.), 5-0 Friday in the Gulf Shores Invitational.

Thomas scored one in the fourth, then piled on four more in the fifth to take the 5-0 win over No. 6 Columbia (Mo.) Friday afternoon. 

Sheala Brown earned the complete game shutout victory, allowing just four hits and striking out three. 

Holly Campbell was 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBI, and Adreanna Killingsworth also tagged a two-run double. 

Results from the second game of the day, against William Woods University, are not yet available. 

The Night Hawks next face No. 18 William Carey University (Miss.) and Freed-Hardeman University (Tenn.) on Saturday at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex.
