Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Thomas University softball team split a pair of games, defeating Lawrence Tech (Mich.), 12-4, then falling, 6-3, to Reinhardt University (Ga.), on opening day of the NFCA Classic.

Thomas is now 6-4 overall heading into the second day at South Commons Softball Stadium. TU is scheduled to face Georgetown (Ky.) at 2 p.m. and Georgia Gwinnett at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Then the Night Hawks will play Rio Grande (Ohio) at 9 a.m. Sunday in the final game of the event.
