Alisha Clayton scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds in Thomas University's 75-50 loss to College of Coastal Georgia Saturday afternoon in Sun Conference play.
Thomas falls to 3-14 overall and 1-11 in the conference while Coast Georgia improves to 15-6, 9-3.
Clayton, who played all 40 minutes, also had five steals and two assists. She was 5-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-8 at the line.
After falling behind, 23-8, in the first quarter, Thomas was only outscored, 52-42, in the final three quarters.
Samantha Gilbert added 13 points, hitting all five of her free throw attempts and draining a pair of 3-pointers.
The Night Hawks have six regular season games remaining. Up next is a home game Feb. 6 at 5:30 p.m., against Johnson & Wales University, which is receiving votes in the current NAIA Coaches Top 25 Poll.
