CARRABELLE, Fla. – The No. 13 Thomas University men's golf team opened the spring season with a matchup against Florida A&M University Saturday afternoon at St. James Bay Golf Club.
Joe Bannan and
Dylan Miranda each shot 75 to lead the Night Hawks in the first outing of the season.
Sam Ledbury was close behind with a 79, followed by
Ludson Maduro (86) and
Rory Henderson (96).
FAMU defeated Thomas 313-315 in team scoring.
"Today was a good tuneup match, and we are looking forward to starting our tournament schedule later this month," said Head Coach
Rick Pearce.
Thomas is back in action Feb. 24-25 at the Ram Spring Invite in Mobile, Ala.
