THOMASVILLE, Ga. –
Kadeem Webb knocked down seven 3-pointers on his way to 26 points, leading Thomas University to an 82-67 win over Warner University Saturday at the TU Gymnasium.
Webb was 9-of-13 from the field and 7-of-11 from long range.
Desean Enzor posted 18 points and 11 rebounds along with two assists, two steals and a blocked shot.
Sheldon Hendrix dished out nine assists while
Trint Bryant and
Nebojsa Mickic each netted 12 points and
Shaquille Holley grabbed eight rebounds.
TU led 36-35 at the half, then outscored Warner 46-32 in the second period. Thomas improved to 6-11 overall and 3-6 in the Sun Conference with the win.
Thomas recorded 23 assists and outrebounded the Lions 43-37. The Night Hawks hit 54.1 percent (33-61) of their shots from the field, and 47.1 percent (8-17) from long distance.
TU ends the season with six of the last nine games on the road, including three straight Jan. 23 at Southeastern (Lakeland, Fla.), Jan. 25 at Ave Maria (Fla.) and Feb. 1 at Coastal Georgia (Brunswick, Ga.).
