BABSON PARK, Fla. –
Shaquille Holley scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in Thomas University's 84-79 overtime loss to Webber International Thursday night at Sabbagh Athletic Center.
Holley was 6-of-13 from the field and pulled down 10 defensive and three offensive rebounds for Thomas (5-11, 2-6 TSC).
TU trailed, 33-31 at the half, then came back to tie the game at the end of regulation as
Desean Enzor finished a layup with six seconds left. The Night Hawks were outscored, 17-12, in overtime.
Trint Bryant led TU with 16 points, and
Kadeem Webb (11) and
Deiontre Morrow (10) each scored double-digit points.
TU outrebounded WIU 57-52, led by Holley's 13 boards, and eight from
Tre Alexandrea and seven from Morrow. Thomas held WIU to 32.1 percent shooting from the field and 33.3 percent from long range.
The Night Hawks return to the TU Gymnasium Saturday, Jan. 18 to face Warner University (Fla.) at 4 p.m.
