Alisha Clayton grabbed four offensive and 12 defensive rebounds Saturday afternoon in Thomas University's 64-60 loss to St. Thomas University at the TU Gymnasium.
Clayton also had six points, four assists and four steals for the Night Hawks (2-9, 0-7 TSC).
Samantha Gilbert led the way with 18 points, hitting a pair of treys, and grabbed six rebounds.
Gabrielle Jester knocked down a trio of 3-pointers and
Jewel Montisano dished out a team high six assists.
Thomas led, 22-21, at halftime, but fell behind by two after the third quarter.
Alexis Powell hit a 3-pointer moments into the fourth quarter to regain the lead. TU led by as many as four points, but with 1:06 left in the game, STU finished a layup to go ahead, 61-60. The Night Hawks would never lead again, falling, 64-60.
TU next travels to Babson Park, Fla., Jan. 16 to face Webber International University at 5:30 p.m.
