BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Thomas University men's basketball team lost, 82-49, to NCAA Division I University of Alabama Birmingham Saturday afternoon in exhibition action.Â
The Night Hawks fell behind early, trailing 44-19 at the half, but only let the deficit fall eight more points in the second period.Â
Desean Enzor led Thomas with 11 points in 13 minutes, hitting four of his eight shot attempts, including one trey, and draining a pair of free throws.
Nebojsa Mickic added nine points and a team high five rebounds while
Sheldon Hendrix also scored nine points and had two steals, two assists and two rebounds.Â
The Night Hawks are back at the TU Gymnasium Jan. 9, opening the new year with Sun Conference foe Florida Memorial at 7:30 p.m.
