THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Thomas University's
Cedric Wright and
Dante DiSipio each netted season high points, with 14 and 10, respectively, in the Night Hawks' 75-56 loss to Ave Maria University Saturday at the TU Gymnasium.
Wright, who hit 7-of-8 from the field, grabbed six rebounds and blocked one shot, and DiSipio, who was 5-of-5 from the field, had four rebounds and a steal.
Trint Bryant led the team with eight rebounds, and added seven points.
TU drops to 8-8 overall and 4-4 in the Sun Conference and Ave Maria improves to 10-7, 5-3.
Thomas trailed, 31-26 at the half, then Ave Maria extended its lead after a 44-30 second half.
The Night Hawks next return to the TU Gymnasium Jan. 12 to face College of Coastal Georgia at 4 p.m.
