WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Thomas University men's basketball team fell, 74-67, to Keiser University Saturday afternoon at the Student Life Center.
Cedric Wright posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds and
Joshua Scott added 16 points and seven boards for the Night Hawks, who fall to 9-10 overall and 5-6 in the Sun Conference. Keiser improved to 10-11, 6-5 with the win.
Thomas outrebounded Keiser, 39-34, and the Night Hawks swiped eight steals from the Seahawks. TU's bench scored 21 points, led by eight from
Kadeem Webb.
Thomas trailed 40-25 at the break, and outscored Keiser 42-34 in the second stanza, but the first-half deficit was too much to overcome.
The Thomas men return to the TU Gymnasium for four straight home games, beginning with St. Thomas University (Fla.) Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
