Box Score THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University women's basketball team lost, 63-44, to College of Coastal Georgia Saturday afternoon at the TU Gymnasium. 

Micah Garvin tallied 12 points and six rebounds and Samantha Gilbert netted 10 points for TU. Ashley Bostick scored seven points and swiped three steals while Alisha Clayton grabbed six boards and had three steals. 

Thomas falls to 6-14 overall and 3-6 in the Sun Conference, and Coastal Georgia improves to 12-6, 6-3. 

Coastal Georgia jumped out to 19-6 first quarter, and 30-19 first half leads. Thomas did outscore the Mariners 17-16 in the third quarter, but Coastal Georgia answered with a 17-8 fourth to take the victory. 

Thomas next travels to South Florida to face Johnson & Wales University in North Miami Jan. 17, then Keiser University in West Palm Beach Jan. 19.
