THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Thomas University junior Kadeem Webb scored 16 points in 18 minutes to help the Night Hawks to an 86-73 win over Brewton-Parker College Tuesday night at the TU Gymnasium.

Webb was 4-of-8 from the field, 3-of-5 from long range, and 5-of-5 at the line. Prior to Tuesday's non-conference game, Webb had not scored in his 31 total minutes over five games this season.

Junior Dexter Hood led Thomas with 18 points and shared team-high rebounds (7) with freshman Marcus Louis, who also blocked three shots. Junior Sheldon Hendrix dished out four assists and swiped two steals.

The Night Hawks hit 48.5 percent (32-66) from the field, 38.1 percent (8-21) from three and 82.4 percent (14-17) at the line, and outscored the Barons, 32-20, in the paint.

Brewton-Parker drained a three to start the game, but Thomas held the 11-9 lead at the 16-minute mark after a dunk by Louis. At 14:16, B-PC hit a jumper to take the 15-13 lead, but Hood hit a jumper to tie the game at 15, then TU went on a run to lead by 18 at the half, 52-34.

BP-C again scored first in the second half, but Thomas kept its commanding lead, holding a double-digit lead the entire second stanza.

Thomas faces a five-game road stand from Dec. 6-19, beginning with a pair of Sun Conference matchups at Webber International University in Babson Park, Fla., Dec. 6, then at Warner University in Lake Wales, Fla., Dec. 8.
