VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Thomas University women's basketball team was back in action on Sunday, falling, 61-43, to Valdosta State in exhibition play at The Complex.
Pkacia Johnson led Thomas with nine points, five rebounds, an assist and a steal while
Micah Garvin pulled down a team high seven rebounds to go with her six points.
Jewel Montisano dished out four assists and
Dymon Brown swiped three steals for TU.
The Night Hawks trailed 35-25 at the half, then were outscored 26-18 in the second period.
Thomas forced the NCAA Division II team into 20 turnovers.
TU faces Faulkner University on New Year's Day in Montgomery, Ala., to wrap up Thomas' stretch of 10 of the last 11 games on the road.
